Integrated Controller and Printer Mechanism

The MS-NP80C features an all-in-one design that combines the control board and printer mechanism in a single module. This compact structure simplifies equipment design and installation while reducing the space required for embedded printing. Automatic paper feeding, automatic full cutting, and a dedicated plastic paper outlet support convenient operation and simplify maintenance in self-service equipment.

High-Speed 80 mm Thermal Printing

With a maximum print width of 80 mm and print speeds of up to 250 mm/s, the MS-NP80C is suitable for applications requiring fast receipt, ticket, and voucher printing. It supports thermal paper with a thickness of 60–150 μm and has a recommended printhead service life of up to 100 km of printing. Text formatting options include bold, italic, underline, and reverse printing, allowing businesses to create clear, well-structured printed outputs for different applications.

Reliable Paper Feeding and Automatic Cutting

Designed for frequent use in unattended environments, the MS-NP80C incorporates a full-cut cutter rated for up to one million cuts. Its paper-handling functions include paper-out detection, paper-near-end detection, black mark detection, paper-jam detection, and cutter-related paper detection. The module also supports horizontal 180° automatic paper loading, helping streamline paper replacement and improve operational convenience in self-service terminals.

Flexible Interfaces and System Integration

The MS-NP80C supports both RS232 and USB interfaces, with selectable communication baud rates of 9,600, 19,200, 38,400, and 115,200 bps. These connectivity options facilitate integration with a range of host systems and embedded equipment. Configurable functions, including paper retracting, paper arch height, and paper-output waiting time, provide additional flexibility for equipment manufacturers adapting the printer module to different installation structures and paper-output requirements.

Applications and OEM/ODM Customisation

The Masung MS-NP80C is suitable for self-service kiosks, ticketing and check-in terminals, information kiosks, vending machines, retail POS systems, lottery and gaming terminals, parking payment systems, and toll booth equipment. Its compact design and automatic paper-handling functions make it a practical choice for applications requiring reliable, unattended receipt and ticket printing.

For OEM and ODM projects, Masung works directly with equipment manufacturers to tailor the printer module to specific integration requirements. Customisation options may include installation structures, paper-feed orientation, interface configurations, software command support, and paper-output settings. These options help businesses integrate the MS-NP80C into their equipment designs and develop self-service printing solutions suited to their operational needs.
